A Message from the Director of EDUTI
I started EDUTI not from comfort, but from pain.
Years ago, I was defrauded by a trusted family member who promised to help me study in Russia. That betrayal was my first lesson abroad, and I vowed no other student should suffer the same fate.
The pivotal moment occurred when I encountered four lost students at a Russian airport, who had been deserted by the very people who were supposed to assist them. I understood, so I intervened. What I already knew—that African students deserve better—was validated in that moment.
EDUTI exists for this reason.
We do more than just handle paperwork. We support students at every stage, from paperwork to airport transportation to adjusting to life overseas. Because I’ve lived it.
